I am delighted to announce my new thread collection called “Joy of Creation” with Wonderfil Specialty Threads!
We collaborated on this project for well over 9 months. During that time we curated over 36 NEW THREAD colors that complement the colors in my Foundation Paper Piecing Quilt Patterns.
This collection focuses on My favorite thread-DECOBOB. This is an 80wt, 2 ply, cottonized-poly-thread—which means it is THIN but STRONG, making it IDEAL for piecing and quilting.

On a personal note: I started using Wonderfil Decobob since the beginning of my FPP quilting journey, when it was included in a quilting subscription box i had signed up for. Since then—i was hooked. I loved that—(1) it’s thinness reduces bulk (2) but is strong enough to hold many layers of fabric and that
(3) it’s cottonized poly thread will last a VERY long time as well as (4) it has minimal lint fall out when sewing.
I am deeply honored to share this with you all and the full circle of this.
Both of Quilts, "The Heart of a Lion" as well as "The Matriarch Elephant" are quilted using their corresponding Thread packs.
