“Nordic Whimsy” is a celebration of Scandinavian heritage, geometry, and storytelling, interpreted through fabric and stitch. Designed by Veruschka Zarate of Pride & Joy Quilting, this pattern continues her landscape series by blending architectural precision of Foundation Paper Piecing and the with Elegant Movement of Applique.

Inspired by Nordic folk art, Viking history, and the evolving lines of modern Scandinavian cityscapes, this design captures the balance between strength and softness, tradition and contemporary design.

Approachable yet visually striking, Nordic Whimsy invites makers to explore technical precision while embracing expressive detail.
